The Philadelphia 76ers moved past the Dallas Mavericks at home 106-100 on Saturday night.

This was led by a collective effort with core group leading the charge toward them grabbing their 17th win at home in the first 20 games at the Wells Fargo Center.

All-Star center Joel Embiid has led the way with a game-high 25 points on 7-of-17 shooting from the floor in what is the best bet performance for Hoopit users. Although it wasn’t a standout shooting performance, Embiid did have most of his production the paint going 6-of-11 from that zone of the floor. He also hit a 3-pointer from the top of the arc.

He has been the driving factor offensively for the 76ers this season behind his consistent production. Embiid has routinely had big nights where he has been highly effective in the paint. It is an area of the floor that the bulk of his production has continued to pour in seemingly whenever the team takes the floor.

Embiid has been arguably the most productive big man in the league through that has an array of moves in the low block that make him a difficult matchup for any defender. He has picked it up over the last four games as he’s averaging 29.5 points on 48.7 percent from the floor and 42.9 percent from beyond the arc.

This includes him pouring in more 20 points in each contest. He will continue to be a highly reliable betting asset for Hoopit users on a nightly basis.

Second-year point guard Ben Simmons poured in a triple-double effort that was led by him notching 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting from the floor. All of his production came in the paint, which is something that he has been their highly efficient from that zone of the floor.

Simmons hasn’t been a factor outside of the paint at any point through his first two campaigns in the league. He can continue to be relied upon to be a consistent betting option due to his efficiency near the paint. Simmons is also coming off back-to-back 20 points could lead to him adding to that moving forward.

The Mavericks came up on the short end, but it shouldn’t deter away from the strong rookie campaign that Luka Doncic has continued to put together that has him in contention for a possible spot on the All-Star team.

Doncic struggled against the 76ers scoring 14 points on 4-of-16 shooting from the floor. He has been a highly productive scorer this season as the leading offensively factor for the Mavericks.

For the most part, Doncic has been able to avoid putting up off-scoring nights so far this year as he has been a highly reliable option from beyond the arc while being a consistent factor in the paint.
This was an outing that has been astray from the solid performances he had been putting together recently as he has posted more than 15 points in each of the four games while nailing at least 3 three-pointers. Doncic should be on track to bounce back the next time the Mavericks take the floor.
